PHOTOBOOK MENTOR PROGRAM

€1,400.00
Comprising of a series of intensive two-day collaborative weekend workshops, the Photobook Mentor Program will cover a range of contemporary publishing models, from indie zines through to high quality luxury editions, ranging from traditional photography books to experimental photobooks that push the boundaries of the publishing medium.
The workshops will be run by Nicholas McLean - Founder/Publisher at Éditions du LIC and Alessandro Calabrese  - Photographer/Teacher (FOAM TALENT 2015 and Lecturer in Photography and Visual Design at NABA, Milan) with guest mentors, Erik Kessels - Founder of KESSELS KRAMER and Gregoire Pujade Lauraine - Photographer/Designer at MACK BOOKS.
Mentors and guest mentors will work in close collaboration with participants to convert their photo projects into print-ready books. The program will cover the complete book making process from concept through curation, sequencing and layout to final design. Additional lectures will provide essential advice on book making materials, printing techniques, book binding options, distribution and marketing.
